How to read Teach Tek plans before paying
Start with the number of people working inside the account, not the number of students you expect. An independent teacher usually needs one seat, while an academy needs seats reflecting who edits schedules and content and follows bookings. One more student does not automatically require a team plan.
Next, review your actual workflow. If your goal is a professional introduction and one shareable link, the profile and identity plan is enough to begin. When requests become frequent, scheduling, deposits, reminders, and analytics become what you are really paying for. Protected study packs, a custom domain, and team administration are separate needs — they do not make the highest plan right for everyone.
Compare yearly and monthly billing by commitment and cash flow, not by an invented monthly equivalent. This page shows the full amount for each cycle so you know exactly what is due. Review trial and change policies during registration, and keep a copy of the plan details you selected when the subscription begins.
And keep the platform subscription separate from your other costs: lesson price, deposit, and cancellation policy are decisions you make, and the platform takes nothing from them. Fees for your telecom provider or an external domain belong to the service you chose there.
Questions before choosing a plan
Does the platform take a commission from the lesson price or the deposit?
No. Your plan subscription is all you pay Teach Tek. The CliQ deposit travels from the student directly to your bank account, and the lesson price and cancellation policy are entirely your decisions.
How does the CliQ deposit work in practice?
You set a deposit amount per lesson type, and before confirming a booking the student sees the payment code and instructions. After payment the seat is confirmed and both of you are notified; if they cancel outside your policy, the deposit counts in your favour.
Is the yearly price shown as a hypothetical monthly number?
No. Choosing yearly shows the full annual amount from the plan configuration, and choosing monthly shows the full monthly amount. There are no estimated figures on this page.
What does the custom domain in higher plans mean?
You can attach your own domain (such as yourname.com) so your profile appears on it with a fully independent identity, with no reference to the platform in front of your students. The cost of the domain itself belongs to the registrar you choose.
Is appearing in the teacher directory required?
No. The directory is fully optional; you can use your profile and booking link without a public listing, and switch discovery on or off from your settings at any time.
